Reflections on the PEIR Q&A

Vaibhav Sharma reflects on the Q&A last week with the team behind the Personal Environmental Impact Report (PEIR) initiative.
He reckons that the project is a ’step beyond’ an ordinary environmental footprint calculator, and gives details of the app (currently in closed beta). He’s included some screenshots and explains the concept clearly and concisely - the tool analyses journeys, particulate impact and fast food exposure, and will ultimately calculate the carbon impact of your travel. Vaibhav sums up by saying this is a worthy app, and Nokia is moving in the right environmental direction.
