N86 to N97 Mini - Natural Progression?

All About Symbian’s Steve Litchfield has been soothsaying, and if he has read the signs correctly contends that the mantle of the N86 is being passed to the N97 Mini.
Ably assisted by one of his magnificent spec tables, Steve reckons that we are heading inexorably into a touchscreen-dominated world, and poses the question - where does that leave devices like the N86? The comparison shows that the two are remarkably well-matched spec-wise, and he for one is going to keep his options open.
