N97 Mini - first impressions

Cj has posted his first impressions of the N97 Mini in a handy list form - what he liked, what he wasn’t sure about, and what he just ‘plain didn’t like’.
In the plus column he lists the size wieght and ‘great’ build quality, and has shared a video showing the solid hinge mechanism. He’s not sure about the lack of a camera lens cover and he is actively mourning the loss of a D-Pad which he reckons ‘helps use the S60v5 interface’. So what do you think?
