Your best Nokia-snapped image 2009

There may still yet be time to head out and capture Rudolph as he streaks across the skies, but we asked on Twitter what was your favourite image that you managed to snap with a Nokia device this year.

We were overwhelmed with entries, so I decided to share a few here in a ‘Best with an N82/N97/N86′ style. Really, though, everyone who entered was a winner, as there were some quality photos.

So here goes:

Best image with an N82

Is the one above from fakhre_x. Simply stunning detail.

Mention should also go to SymbianLifeBlog - great shot.

Best with an N97

Mack005 weighs in with this beauty - not only for the content of the image, but also for the clarity and sharpness of the subject.

Baptiste came a close second with an awesome shot of the beach.

Also snapping with an N97 this year were chaslam500 (too scary to win, but detailed!) and xMichaelSFx who was flying high and heading my way when he took this!

irfun4ever got a cute moment (even though he scared one away).

middleda has a nice composition and Glenn Letham also captured a serene moment.

Best with an N86

Quite simply ‘wow’, and props to James for managing to capture light, reflection and a perfectly still lake all in the same shot.

Varun was out and about in London when he captured this clear shot.

rwishi literally ‘captured the moment’ (a cheeky one this).

Best Eseries image

Itsnoel snapped this while passing through St. Pancras in London on his E71.

Brazil01 managed to grab this stunner while out and about. Similar to James’ above, and on an Eseries device!

Best of the rest

With an N95, Ani Sharma just casually photographed Times Square on his way home (as you do).

Illusionado snagged a great close up of another handset (are we crossing the streams here? Nokias taking Nokias?)

JoeClay16 gets a mention for subject matter - truly weird.

If I didn’t name check you, truly sorry, our Twitter feed nearly broke with the number of replies, and you have all done amazingly well. I never expected such a response!
