#nokiacomp: N900s and expenses paid trips to SXSW up for grabs!

We’re going to have a number of separate giveaways on WOMWorld/Nokia this week and next – with the first set of prizes up for grabs TOMMOROW!

The prizes in question involve expenses paid trips to the South By Southwest (SXSW) festival and free N900 devices… it simply doesn’t get much cooler than that.

Phase 1

First up, you simply need to guess the total number of trial devices WOMWorld/Nokia sent out last year (as opposed to the number of devices we have) by Tweeting us @Womworldnokia with your guess before 9am tomorrow (Friday), UK time.

We’ll then publish a list of the closest 100 people, ordered according to how close their guesses were to the correct total (the person with the best guess will be number one, the second closest will be number two, and so forth, up to 100)…

This will be the pecking order for phase two, where the prizes will be won and lost…!

Phase 2

Starting from 4pm tomorrow (Friday), we’ll be playing: ‘Which Nokia am I?’ (see below).

‘Person number one’ is first in line to play - and therefore has the first chance to win one of our cool prizes. If ‘person one’ fails, the chance gets passed on to ‘person two’ – and so forth until all prizes are gone…

So how does ‘Which Nokia Am I?’ work?

Chris at WOMWorld/Nokia (me!) will be streaming live on our Qik channel from 4pm tomorrow. To win the game, the contestant must determine which Nokia device I am by asking yes/no questions. Only one contestant plays at a time (determined by the ‘phase one’ pecking order).

If the contestant can work out what device I am…

- within five questions: They win an expenses paid ticket to South By Southwest.
- within ten questions: They win an N900
- within fifteen questions: They get a trial of a cutting edge Nokia device

The competition will end once all the prizes have been won. If you miss out on them, don’t worry, there will be more chances to win next week in other competitions. You’ll be submitting your questions via our Qik channel, so make sure you’ve got an account set up.

A few things to bear in mind…

- You must over 18
- You must be able to travel to the USA next Friday 12th returning Tuesday 16th.
- You must already be in possession of a VISA if one is required for you to travel to the USA

For all chatter on the event, use hashtags #SXSW #Nokiacomp

If you’ve already entered without those hashtags, don’t worry, your vote will still be included.
