N95 firmware update experiences
July 9th, 2007
User experiences with the latest firmware for the N95 are coming in thick and fast, in a good summary from Jonathan Greene, over at his Atmasperhic|Endeavors blog, has put down that he loves the A-GPS but he still has problems with memory.

After upgrade to V12.0.013 the screen saver (date and time scrolling on the screen) is no more working.
Also if I try a preview, nothing occurs.

I changed the product code to the generic one and downloaded the new firmware V12….. It was OK until I re-installed backed up data from my memory card.
It froze.. I re-booted, It let me enter my pin and repairer” 24 hours to find out if I have broken the Nokia warrantee.

Updated my n95 according to official N0kia
requrements.
Backed up all the data.Set up my Outlook for contacts,calendar and the rest.
When finished updating ,try to retreave from Outlook
Got back only partial contacts.Daniel

updated my n95 8gb to the latest firmware after first backing up my phone data to the mass memory. Firmware update worked ok but I’ve lost a few apps and ALL of my calendar entries. All of them Nice one Nokia, cheers! I did everything I was instructed to do. I still think it’s the best phone ever but I’m pretty annoyed I’ve lost my calendar entries!!!
