N76 firmware update v30.0.015
October 2nd, 2007
N76 users should link up their device to Nokia Updater and grab the latest firmware update. As you can see below, the update adds a search on active standby; this basically means that you can search your entire device for whatever you want from the opening screen, very useful.

More finds are coming through in a thread in Howardforums, and blue13x from The Nokia Guide has blogged about the update and is requesting for any change log details anyone has come across, so jump over and let him know.

Thanks to a great find on The Nokia Guide, N76 users can now update their devices to include some new features. According to the info on WomWorld, the new update (v30.0.015) adds a new search feature to the active standby…

New N76 Firmware v30.0.015 with Active Search…

Can any1 please help me….the nokia updater doesnt seem to work for me. I installed it on 2 different PC’s (1 laptop - DELL and 1 PC) both having specifications way above what is required by the software but I had the same problem - The software says ‘Starting Applcation’ and thts all i see. It doesnt start…..Any help is much appreciated

kirk, you may have a corrupt or scratched cd that is some how messing with the installation process, i’d recommend downloading the installer from the nokia.com site
http://europe.nokia.com/A4579163 and seeing how you get on with that

asalam0laikum i have updated my set to version dat has mentioned above the problem that i m having is now my mobile can not recognized other language arbi,urdu language or any scripd message except english it represent all that messages like a box plez help me out mail me the possible way to out if therr wont be plez tell me the way to go back my version to default
