N76 firmware has Active Search

October 5th, 2007 at 12:23 pm

Symbian Guru Ricky Cadden adds some more to his first thoughts on the new N76 firmware. The major addition, in his opinion, is the Active Search option, which, like we posted on the other day, allows the user to only start to type the app, and the field is narrowed down to make selection easier without scrolling.

Is this a pretty neat feature, or do you think it will drain too much of the battery? If you’ve been holding off getting an N76 this is a good insight to the lastest firmware, and how the device is operating now, but if you can think of any other reasons this could be useful or otherwise, join the discussion here.
