N810’s impact on application developers

October 22nd, 2007 at 12:57 pm

In an extensive post, Quim Gil Hoernecke
(at his new-to-WomWorld blog), explains the impact the N810 will have on maemo developers. There doesn’t seem to be much difference between the N800 and the new tablet as far as application development goes, but there is a lot of debate (mostly positive) on the impact it may have.

RogerS
at Internet Tablet Talk agrees but explores the GPS possibilities in more detail, asking whether developers could harness the power of knowing the movements of individuals to allow companies such as airlines to tailor their services to each user. Plenty of positive and inspiring debate follows, so jump over and join in.
