Always know where your friends are with your N810

October 24th, 2007 at 12:45 pm

RogerS at Internet Tablet Talk posts an idea stemming from Thoughtfix’s musings on the N810 as a location-aware device. Roger wonders whether an application can be written to identify the locations of a group of people on a Google map. Great for family occasions or tour groups, as everyone with a device can converge on the person most centrally located. And of course, the N810 being a totally open source device, that anyone can write programmes for, it may well happen!

There’s lots of comment, so jump over and join in if you think this idea has legs and to add your thoughts.
