Write your own app

October 25th, 2007 at 4:08 pm

RogerS at Internet Tablet Talk is currently developing his own 3rd party app extension (a dictionary look up that delivers results in a side or bottom bar in a Firefox window) for the N800 and lauds the fact that anyone with any kind of get go can develop their own idea. He says that having a platform that encourages development ‘gratifies [him] immensely’.

Share any thoughts you have about developing apps in the Internet Tablet Talk forums. Or if you want to get into application development yourself, but you’re not sure where to start, the forums are a great place to ask questions and get ideas.

What are your advises regarding to get a quick writting using the N95 3 letters keyboard, for quick messaging or E-mailling urgent matters? To buy an iPhone or a Blackberry?
Is there substancial improvement in your T9 writting aid compared with your N 6111, that might be tested?
I have already 2 smartphones (Treo&HTC)and use also a Nokia6111. Thanking in advance your comments.
