N95 helps save the environment

November 9th, 2007 at 5:45 pm

Jan at The N95 Blog received an interesting email recently. It concerned a reforestation project in Indonesia that is making cunning use of the N95 feature-set.

Using geotags, Google Earth and the N95, the project (which involves Nokia, Equinox Publishing and The WWF) replants and maps trees that have been illegally removed from the rainforest. They then upload this information onto the web for all to see.
