N81 review: how did it fair?

The N81 has recently been in the hands of Om Malik at GigaOm for a review, and unfortunately, it didn’t stay there for too long.

His review starts well, impressed as he is by the sleek looks and crisp screen. Even the first steps in setting up the device seem to go without a hitch. Soon though, Om struck problems. He found the device to be very slow at performing even basic tasks and while music quality was excellent, getting to a point where he could play his tracks was a real test of patience. Ultimately, Om was frustrated enough by the lack of oomph behind the operating system that he gave up.
