N95

SIM-less N95 still cuts the mustard

November 30th, 2007 at 1:11 pm

While some users might be interested in the N95 primarily for making phone calls, Abhishta Paranjpe at Techno Blabber has discovered that the device is perfectly happy should you take this functionality away.

Starting up the N95 without a SIM puts the device in offline mode where all functions - including WiFi - work just as you would expect. Given the feature-set of the N95, that makes for a useful piece of kit without any phone bills!

Do you regularly use an N95 or other Nseries device without a SIM card? Head over and have your say.
