Report on a trial of the N82

January 11th, 2008 at 3:28 pm

Pete from Sterling Adventures has had a look at the N82 with adventure pack, and has noted his comments on the blog.

It is generally a positive review from Pete who is taken by the looks and shiny exterior of the device. The inclusion of Wifi connectivity in the N82 is also a boon which coupled with the GPS functionality adds some very useful features Pete didn’t necessarily expect on such a handset.

There are negatives too however, mainly with the mapping data in Nokia Maps. Having to use some kind of network access didn’t appeal, and the lack of country lanes on the maps was not good enough in his opinion. Pete also looks at the Salomon back pack that comes with the N82 adventure pack, and this he thought was great, though there were minor issues with access due to the elasticated straps on the back.

If you’re interested in the N82 adventure pack, jump over to the Nseries site where you can find more details direct from the source.
