WOM WORLD / NOKIA

Full hands on with the N96, N78

February 12th, 2008

Yesterday we looked at Vaibhav’s initial impressions of both the new N96 and N78 from the Mobile World Congress over at his Symbian Blog, well today he’s got the images up of his first full hands on, with much more and informed opinion.

Jump over for full opinion, video and images of the N96 where he runs through everything from build quality to music and gaming options, all of which are to a high standard, but what does he think about the 950mAh battery?

N96

There’s also the full package of N78 images, videos and opinion, another device he thinks has a ‘few aces up its sleeves.’ Remember to leave questions or your own thoughts in his comments sections.

N78

nice phone……… i just want to the price of this phone…….

  • Posted by prashant on March 31st, 2008 at 12:33 pm

the phone is very powerful but im not sure about the battery because n95 8gb has a 1200mAH battery.the ram should have been increased as the 8gb one has 128mb and the 16gb shud have 256mb…if it passes these two tests then it will sure be big hit in the indian market….the estimate price wil be around 35,000 rs according to my predictions…but eventually come down to 25,000rs.the features are gr8 and nokia is moving forward in its nseries succesfully.the camera quality will be as gr8 as n95 or even better than that.the phone should have had a fm transmitor built in it..as many car sterio do not have bluetooth

  • Posted by rishi uppal on September 23rd, 2008 at 5:09 pm

N96 is the Most third class and third rate mobile ever,Nokia should be sued for duping customers with such a bad processor with pathetic speed. Really regretting for the 35k i blew up on this cell. Pls. no one should buy it

  • Posted by sayed on September 27th, 2008 at 5:08 pm

    What’s the price of N73ME

  • Posted by augustine on October 7th, 2008 at 3:51 am

N96 phone is way inferior to the HTC TYTN2 - it’s pre-installed applications vanish at the instance of a hard reset e.g. Wave secure, oxford dictionary, indi sms, ngage games where there is no recall absolutely. The 50 music videos and 200 music audios loaded to demonstrate the veracity of their claims is humbug. I appeal to all indians nationwide to desist buying the N95. Thank you.
