N81 8GB N-Gage review

GaMerZ over on Lester Chan’s blog gives us his first thoughts on the N81 8GB’s N-Gage capabilities, and to say he’s impressed would be understating it. From an initial start point of playing virtually no games, he has now become ‘addicted’ to the N-Gage platform.

Aside from the games, GaMerZ was most impressed with N-Gage’s ability to automatically and seamlessly connect to an alternative access point when the user is away from their preferred network. Perfect for submitting game scores on the move.

He reckons that the platform is a vast improvement on the old cartridge version of N-Gage, but a quick survey of contemporaries reveals pricing could be a tricky issue. Addictive, good-looking, and convenient, N-Gage gets the thumbs up all round.
