Impact of the iPhone SDK on Nseries

The guys over at Howard Forums have a hot thread at the moment considering what impact the release of the iPhone SDK (Software Development Kit) will have on the Nseries, with kpo’m asking whether this release puts the iPhone just a 5MP camera and GPS module away from ‘eating the Nseries’.
Early comments note apps for the iPhone starting to make use of the accelerometer while others suggest that competition can only be a good thing for pushing the Nseries into even greater territories. More recent conversation has been focussed on the camera, which is still something that dramatically separates the iPhone from the top Nseries devices.
