User Data Preservation on the N95?
March 28th, 2008 at 5:36 pm
When the last firmware update was released for the N82 (version 11.0.117) it saw the debut performace of UDP (or User Data Preservation for the acronymically challenged. This was a great boon for N82 owners as it meant they didn’t need to reinstall everything on their device after a FW update).

He muses on the reasons behind its hiding in the shadows deciding it is most likely a ploy to ensure there are tangible differences between the top Nseries handsets.
