Speed browsing on the N810 Internet Tablet
April 10th, 2008
There’s quite some chat going on at the moment about the emergence of Firefox mobile and the fact that it allegedly runs six times faster than MicroB, OS2008’s native browser on the Nokia N810 Internet Tablet.
Gizmodo and ars technica have both picked up on this news from Christopher Blizzard who has been testing Firefox’s new mobile browser (codename Fennec) and shown it to be 5.9 times faster than MicroB. If you want to be involved with mobile project jump over for details on installing an early version of the browser.
There’s also a thread running on Internet Tablet Talk on the subject, so jump in and leave your comments.
