Qik crashes solved
April 29th, 2008
This is one for the techies, so enjoy. Steve Garfield, in his Off On A Tangent blog , has posted briefly about preventing N95 crashes when Qik is running.
The N95 US version can’t switch between 3G and GSM if there is a load on the DSP and causes the device to crash if Qik (or other heavy usage app) is running. The solution, according to Steve, is to lock the handset into 3G mode (he even tells you how). Another problem solved, thanks to Steve.
Have you had any problems with Qik? Have you managed to solve them? Was your solution the same? Why not head over and share your tips?
