N810 – gets you out of a jam
May 9th, 2008
Thoughtfix has been busy with his N810, his lifeline when he was moving house, and his joy at Mac users getting a video converter.
He tells us on his TabletBlog that during his move, the N810 came up trumps in terms of the GPS Wayfinder that he subscribes to. He had only been to the apartment once before, so finding it again was a small priority, and the service also helped him find his way to work. With no web set up in the new place, Thoughtfix was reliant on his tablet for email and entertainment purposes too, and it proved itself more than worthy.
The Mac video converter appears to look exactly like the PC version functionally, and the tests Thoughtfix has run show it to be quite fast. There are more details over at Nokia Beta labs site, so go check it out.
Have you ever had to rely on your N8×0 when you’ve been in a fix? What do you think of the new converter? Jump over and let Thoughtfix know.
