Google Reader comes to S60 devices

May 14th, 2008 at 3:51 pm

Dotsisx from Symbian Guru has been playing around with the new Google Reader, with some satisfying results.

Developed for iPhone, the Reader can also be used on NITs, and on the N95-1 (the device Dotsisx was using in this instance). The iPhone version (over the desktop version) allows for more separation between items and groups feeds into folders, making for an easier browsing experience. The ‘real nice surprise’ that was the Reader is now firmly fixed in her bookmarks, and there’s no danger of her going back. She’s made a video that shows what she’s talking about, and says there is no longer a dilemma about which reader to choose.

Have you tried the iPhone Google Reader yet on your S60 device? What do you think? Jump over and let Dotsisx know.

Ah it is total crap Richard, I have tested it few days ago and it failed to impress me, it is optimized for the touch screen input and therefore classic mobile version looks quite better on the S60 devices. This thing requires tooo much clicks to done simple tasks, thumbs down!!!
