Nokia Nseries cameras – poor conditions don’t have to mean poor pics
May 14th, 2008
Over at All About Symbian, Steve Litchfield has posted some tips on how to make the most of your Nseries camera when conditions aren’t quite as you would hope for.
The tricks include image manipulating software after the event (could be considered cheating! – although not according to Unregistered in the comment stream), focussing before a moving image comes into shot, and adjusting the exposure settings. All things that would come naturally to a professional photographer, but bear in mind that we’re talking about the cameras on mobile devices here. Steve reckons that having such high-powered gadgetry in your pocket allows all sorts of great images to be captured that previously would have been missed due the camera-left-at-home problem.
So what do you do when conditions aren’t right for you? Do you give up, or change a simple setting and take a cracking still? Let Steve know, and maybe even share your best images.
