N82 huge review

May 19th, 2008

Meraj Chhaya from Phone Report has posted an extremely lengthy and comprehensive report on the N82, covering every aspect of the device.

Meraj isn’t as against the keypad design as others, but does say that the backlighting isn’t as good as it could be. He also says that the materials used to produce the device give it a ‘plastic feel’. The battery ‘lasted longer than expected’ and the device was used to play N-Gage games with ‘breathtaking graphics’. Lots of the hardware features get slammed for being poorly positioned, including the speakers and the charge point, but not the memory card slot. The ergonomics of the device, Meraj feels, have been ignored in favour of style, but concludes that the N82 is a ‘worthy device’ that doesn’t have as many bugs as other Nseries releases.

So what do you think of the N82? Do you agree with any of Meraj’s points? Share your N82 experience by heading over and leaving a comment, and if you’re thinking of buying an N82, this is a great place to ask your questions.
