E90 firmware update - change log
May 22nd, 2008
Over at Symbian Freak, Teo brings us the change log from the E90 firmware update that was released last week.
The improvements to stability, and the introduction of the WRT (Web Run Time widget) and upgrades to Quick Office and Flash Lite have been about in the space for a few days, but Teo brings a full list of what exactly has changed in each area of the device. Mostly they concern increased stability of various aspects such as the barcode reader and the browser, but there are items on there that may come as news to some. Improvements to Active Notes – especially sending and receiving via Bluetooth – and support for VoIP clients may be of special interest to the business users of this device.
Have you any questions about the firmware update? Is there anything missing that you would have liked to have seen included? Jump through to the forum discussion to have your say.

Hi All,
I am a 3 year 9500 user and very dissapointed with the new E90. The log feature has dropped from 999 days to just 30 days. The Fax functionality is “missing” and the CLOCK programme is dismal. (What happened to Sunrise and Sunset) The search feature in Contacts has reduced and the ESC key has been removed from my Keyboard. The 9500 was fantastic and I was so looking forward to the new upgraded device. What a let down NOKIA. Regards Mark Kelly 0439500500 or markkelly62@gmail.com
