WOM WORLD / NOKIA

E61i review

May 29th, 2008

Christian Titze, writing on Symbian World, has had an E61i for a few days now, and has posted his thoughts on how he has been getting along with it so far.

He starts by cataloguing the positives and negatives, listing the fact that the device is ‘very thin’ as a plus, but ‘very wide’ as a minus. The ‘very clear and readable’ screen, according to Christian, isn’t ‘as blurry’ as the N95 8GB. The keypad takes a pounding, as Christian reckons some of the 57 ‘very small’ buttons needed pressure ‘exactly in the middle’ to make them work. The battery appears to be holding up well, with two days’ usage from a nearly full charge. He seems relatively happy overall, with a few niggles, including a high-frequency noise when on calls, which he thinks could come from the display.

After reading his review, are there any questions that you have for Christian about the E61i? Is there any aspect you would like to see explored in more detail? Head over and get involved in the comment stream.
