N95 8GB – first impressions

May 30th, 2008 at 1:33 pm

Andrew Currie has his hands on the N95 8GB following his in depth time with the N82 and he’s ‘digging’ the new device.

Comparing it to the black N82 he recently played with, the first difference he noticed was the stability of the N95 8GB’s auto-rotate function. Far from ‘hiccupp[ing]’ between vertical and horizontal, the ‘flagship device’ is ‘very intuitive’. He had a minor issue with the carry case (the CP-235) in that to answer a call you have to open the flap which then obscures half your face. Not the best design, that. He’s certainly impressed by the device, saying that if anything is going to ‘woo’ him away from his E61i, it’s this.

What do you think of the N95 8GB? Have you got any questions that you’d like to see Andrew answer in his next post? Head over there and leave him a comment.

Have have Both the n95-1, and N95-2, the latter having the very same case too, so know what he means about the design aspect of it, although, it is a very nice case, made to a very high standard, which has a flush interior.

As to what i think of the N95-2, well, its everything I need, all in one place. Having several accessories for it too, including a Proporta Usb charger, and a proporta Solar charger, iGo wireless keyboard, and many more, its a gadget freaks dream.!

I’ll get me coat lol
