E61i – gotta love the build quality

June 3rd, 2008 at 3:19 pm

Over at Symbian Guru, Dotsisx has been waxing lyrical about the build quality of the E61i.

She variously describes the materials used to produce the device as ‘noble’ and begging ‘to be caressed’. In fact, why not just hand over to her? ‘Everything also snaps into place, with no gaps, no wobbles and no squeaks, making the E61i a whole unit, that will take some beating and still come out victorious.’ Strong words indeed, and the praise doesn’t stop there – Dotsisx goes on to say she is ‘totally in love with the way the E61i looks and feels’. There are a couple of niggles, but nothing major, and she is a massive fan of the light sensor, which she sees as a great battery-saving implementation. It’s easy to see that Dotsisx won’t be dissing the build quality of this handset in the near future, and woe betide any new device that doesn’t meet these standards when released.

Have you got any questions for Dotsisx about this aspect of the device? Anything you want to know more about? Get yourself over to Symbian Guru and let her know.
