N82… shall I compare thee to an N95?

June 10th, 2008 at 5:45 pm

The N82 and N95 are both great imaging devices, though of course the N82 has that xenon flash. In the field however, which of the two Nseries handsets is more likely to let you capture the moment?

Well, according to Steve Garfield (from Off On A Tangent) it’s the N82 that you’d want to have on you. He found it to be notably quicker at processing and taking photos making fleeting moments more accessible than on the N95. There are other considerations of course, and unlocking the devices keys is much much easier with the slider form-factor of the N95, while the choice of USB port on the N82 means you can’t just use any standard USB cable you have lying around.

Jump over to read Steve’s full review which also covers the keys and his experience transferring images from the N82. You can also check out the pictures he took!
