Nokia Step Counter steps up

June 13th, 2008 at 1:48 pm

One doesn’t typically think of their Nokia device as being too helpful in a bid to get fit. In fact with multimedia capabilities and N-gage on most devices you’d probably find it more at home on the sofa.

That view has changed recently however with the release of Sports Tracker and now Nokia’s Step Counter, which has been reviewed by Dotsisx over on Symbian Guru. She has been looking for something to motivate her to keep working out, and has been amazed at what Step Counter can offer, including a nice array of graphics representing your activity. She says it is a definite must for walkers /joggers with accelerometer capable devices.

Jump over for a nice set of screen shots and download link.
