N800: a travellers dream

June 16th, 2008 at 3:16 pm

John Wheller (aka pronuke) has posted on his blog, Fast Fission as well as on the Internet Tablet Talk forums, about his love for the N800 when travelling by air.

The size of the device is one key aspect of this, as well as the capabilities of the N800 (or N810 if that happens to be on your desk!) however, the key issue for John is how much use he can get out of his device in the different ‘phases’ of air travel (i.e. in the air, waiting at the gate etc). Jump over for a nice breakdown and comparison with a cell phone and laptop in the same situation.

Do you use the N800 or N810 when you’re jetting around the world? Jump over to leave your comments.

I agree, the n800 is perfect for travel. No extra laptop bag. I’ve taken my n800 to South America, Africa, and next month it’s going with me on a film trip to Asia. It’s perfect for music, web apps and email, and free wifi can be found here and there worldwide… cafes, hotels, etc. I’m a happy user! - Dan
