Nokia WidSets news

Glenn95, on his Nokia N95 user blog, has brought news of the WidSets widgets that are now available for download.

These are enabled by Nokia’s Web Runtime Technology (WRT) which makes it ‘easy for anyone…to create mobile applications’. The standard web technologies (JavaScript, html etc.) are all supported, which opens up a ‘whole new range’ of possibilities for ‘social networking and location based services’. The operations end is ‘taken care of’ as the new widgets use the same back-end as WidSets does.
