Switching between Nokias? No problem!
July 13th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
Over at Symbian Guru, Dotsisx has produced something that most of us could do with, a clear and concise guide to switching devices.
Dubbed ‘the ultimate’ guide for switching between handsets, she outlines the exact order in which to carry out tasks to avoid the loss of vital infomation (we’ve all done it) when you finally ditch the old device. Starting with pairing the two devices via Bluetooth, zipping all the apps into one file on your PC, and saving interesting stuff like Sports Tracker information to memory cards, Dotsisx has it all covered. She even has a way to teach your new device all the T9 words that your handset ‘learned’…perfect stuff to avoid the tedium of entering them all over again.
Is there anything Dotsisx missed? Any tips you have for others on transferring data? Has this guide saved your life? Jump over and let Dotsisx know.
