Nokia Maps - tips and tricks

Mark Guim from The Nokia Blog has been playing around with his Nokia device and Nokia Maps 2.0, and brings us some advice on how to get the most out of the app.

First up, Mark shares with us the best way to let your friends know where you are, by sending an SMS from Nokia Maps, making it a cinch to find your buddies and meet up. There is a slight issue with the number of steps the receiver of the SMS has to go through. He has a suggestion about how to improve the service, and reckons if his inbox could recognise the file and alert him to the fact, it would make the process ‘one click compared to four’. Mark also shares a clear step-by-step guide on how to port info from Google Maps on a computer to Nokia Maps on your device. This great find now means that as well as sending info from device to device, it can now be sent from PC to device.
