N82 firmware – what you want from the next update

July 16th, 2008

Migs on his Mobile Network has produced a list of things that he’d like to see from the next N82 firmware update.

The list includes some basic tweaks to the camera unit, including the ability to turn off the red light when recording a video and (in the units in Asia where it isn’t possible currently) to turn off the camera sound when taking a snap – which apparently doesn’t even happen when the device is in silent mode. Another suggestion is to separate the photo and video galleries, and Migs reckons the ‘redundant’ button above the C could be used for this function. There are a few more, so head over to the site and find out what they are.

Do you agree with the list? Is there anything else you could add to improve your user experience with the N82? Get yourself over to the site and share your thoughts with Migs.
