N810 operating system – runs ‘flawlessly’

July 16th, 2008

Phone Report’s Meraj Chhaya has been road-testing the N810, and has turned his attentions to the operating system on the tablet (OS 2008) which he found to run very smoothly indeed.

The tablet ‘never crashed once’ whilst he was testing it, and his previous complaints about the ‘non-dynamic’ OS may have been put to bed as he has seen a notable growth in the number of apps available for the device. Meraj walks us through the UI with plenty of large and colourful screenshots showing exactly what he’s talking about in each section. Covering the web, Skype, Google chat, RSS feeds and the control Panel, he clearly explains each aspect of the device, making this post a cracking place to start for anyone who has just bought an N810 or is thinking of getting one.

Are you one of those who is just starting out with an NIT? What would you like to see Meraj cover next? Is there anything he missed out of this review that you couldn’t find? Head over to the site and let him know your thoughts
