Nokia enthusiast beats Nokia manual
July 17th, 2008
Whenever I get myself into a sticky patch with a new device, I very rarely reach for the manual. Instead I head out into blog-world and see if there’s a solution out there.
In this case, it’s a good job as it turns out that the manual for the E71 prints a trickier way to achieve centering and zooming functions. But Mark Guim from The Nokia Blog has found a different method which he claims is quicker. Instead of 0 to center, * and # usually used on a numeric keypad, Mark says that spacebar centers, Shift zooms in and Delete zooms out. Hopefully get you zipping around Nokia Maps a bit quicker on your E71!
Have you found any ways to ‘beat the manual’? Does Mark’s heads up make your life easier? Head over and let him know.
