N810 gets Windows

July 18th, 2008

Various sources have reported on the fact that the N810 has been Windows-enabled, and the general feeling is that it just…looks…’wrong’ (according to Darren Murph on Engadget).

Alan Williamson
has had a look, though, and thinks the whole thing is ‘amusing’ rather than wrong. He ponders the reasons behind why anyone would bother wasting time to get Windows to work when the established OS is so good, although it actually ‘looks quite good’ on the N810 set up. Darren reckons the ‘antiquated’ software is actually worth a look, if only for ‘nostalgia’s sake’. It’s never going to replace Linux, but have a look and see what you think.

Is this the best piece of emulation you’ve seen? Will you be rushing to swap your whole set up for this? Head over to either site and air your thoughts.
