E66 Dual Modes

Dotsisx writes on the Symbian Guru pages about the new dual mode functionality that has been introduced into the new Eseries devices (E66 and E71).

Concentrating on the E66, she describes how from the Home screen it is now possible to switch between Personal and Business modes. Not only is it possible to change the look of your device (serious theme for business, fluffy bunnies for personal), but you can also decide which apps have access to the home screen and customise the top row of application icons. Dotsisx, whilst she ‘totally loved’ this idea, reckons Nokia could have taken it one step further and allowed scheduling of modes, so that at 6pm the device automatically switched from business to personal. Maybe if enough people throw their weight behind this idea, someone will pay attention and grant her wishes.
