N-Gage takes on iPhone

Emo185 has posted on his Gaming Blog on the recent arrival of games on the iPhone platform and the possible threat to N-Gage.

He reports that there are numerous other comparison posts out there in the space, and he tries to bring his own perspective to the debate. He reckons that the first batch of N-Gage games still ‘holds off’ the iPhone games. He does say that the two platforms are currently ‘evenly matched’, with the Apple product having ‘the numbers, but the Nokia suite of games having ‘the quality’, highlighting the quintessential difference between the two. He says iPhone games are for ‘everybody’ whereas the N-Gage products are for the ‘dedicated’ – quite the dichotomy some would say, and one which underlines the distinction between the glossy shiny iPhone and the more understated Nseries range.
