N82 music experience – could be better

July 25th, 2008

On the Symbian Guru site, Dotsisx has brought her thoughts about how to improve the music experience of the N82.

This isn’t an appeal to Nokia to make the device better, simply a list of tips and tricks for the consumer to get to where they want to be in the set up quicker and easier. Her first hint is to get to the music player more quickly by setting it as a standby shortcut or by using MagicKey to set the Gallery key to launch the function. Another improvement would be to have greater control over the music, either by using a headset with volume controls, or installing a nifty piece of freeware to ensure the keypad doesn’t lock at certain times. Finally, more music is the answer, as Dotsisx urges users to utilise the power of internet radio, podcasts and the radio, as well as scrobbling tracks to Last.fm to let others know what you’re into.

How do you get the most music-wise from your N82? Have these tips made your experience better? Get over to the Symbian Guru site and leave a comment letting Dotsisx know.
