N810 out of the box – what next?

July 30th, 2008 at 11:40 am

Over at Internet Tablet School, neoncherry has posted a guide of the very first things a new Nokia Internet Tablet owner should do when they get their new baby home.

Including things obvious to the seasoned mobile device enthusiast, some of these steps are perfect for those just entering the waters of the NIT world, and include being aware of what comes in the box. Having the patience to charge the device until it is full is something that a lot of new users wouldn’t think of doing, and as neoncherry points out draining the battery is not necessary. Updating to the latest firmware and checking Bluetooth connections are mistakes that first time owners might bypass in their eagerness to get started, but are vital to ensure smooth running of the tablet. The list of things to do carries on, and it’s well worth a read if your thinking of dipping your toe into the wonderful world of NITs.

Is there anything you’d like to ask neoncherry about getting started? Something you think she’s not quite covered here? Head over and leave her a comment.
