It’s slim, it’s sleek, it’s sexy. It’s kravvykrav’s first look at the E71

The new business model to be launched later this year has generated plenty of discussion on the space, so does the E71 live up to expectations? kravvykrav (a.k.a. Noah from PhoneDog) takes his first look.

For one reason or another the E series hasn’t been as popular in the US as it has in Europe but this ‘very powerful’ new model is about to change that. Its styling isn’t completely different to older models, but the stainless steel casing and dual menus have proved popular already. One common complaint about business devices is their thickness, but not anymore! The E71 measures ‘a mere’ 10mm in depth, making it the slimmest business device on the market, a fact well illustrated when compared to the Blackberry 800w and Palm Treo Horizon. And this device is definitely business focused, with quick keys to calendar and email functions, as well as quick email and messaging setup. With a full QWERTY keyboard, S60 operating system and WiFi this phone certainly set Noah’s pulse racing.
