Porting your T9 dictionary to a new device
August 5th, 2008 at 1:23 pm
Hot on the heels of his post on which device is the fastest for sending messages, Vaibhav Sharma posts on The Symbian Blog about porting the words you have taught your device over to a new handset.
Having spent the time inputting the new words, Vaibhav says a ‘major annoyance’ is losing them when a user switches devices. His handy ‘how to’, including which apps to load to facilitate an easy port, is a great place to start if you’ve never tried exchanging info between devices before.
Did this work for you? Is there anything else you need help with when switching devices? Head over and ask Vaibhav any questions you may have.
