N95’s TV-Out has many uses

August 8th, 2008

Writing on Mobile World Innovation, THETRUTH has shown his readers how he uses the TV-Out function on his N95-4.

Connecting his device to his mini PC, he browses the web, connects to Google Maps (showing the satellite view), and calculates a route to work. He shows that the screen is mirroring exactly what is displayed on his N95-4, which is especially useful when playing games for a bigger screen experience. When using the controls on the device for gaming, there is no lag between hitting a control and seeing the corresponding action on the larger screen. He even gets use out of both a mammoth 40″ LCD and his portable DVD player for a more restrained big screen experience. So far from being a gimmick, he thinks that the TV-Out function is ‘awesome’.

What uses have you put the TV-Out function to? Has THETRUTH’s video opened your eyes to the possibilities? Head over and leave him a comment.
