Do you install to device memory or card memory?

August 15th, 2008 at 12:08 pm

Matthew has posted on Darla Mack’s site about whether readers prefer to install apps to the device memory or on cards.

Taking into account frequency of use, whether it boots on start up and portability, Matthew looks at which place would be best to store apps. If something is likely to be used often, then the device memory is best for storing, as memory cards tend to use a bit more battery (how much, Matthew couldn’t quite get his hands on). Apps that load on start up of the device should be stored in the handset memory, and people with a lot of data (such as photos, videos etc.) should use memory cards for this stuff and let the device memory handle the rest.

Do you agree with Matthew? How do utilise your memory? Head over and let him know.
