Nokia now supports Lonely Planet content

August 20th, 2008

Over at All About Symbian, Rafe Blandford reports that Lonely Planet guides can now be purchased and perused on Nokia devices.

At £5.99 (about $10), he does admit that this seems ‘relatively expensive’ considering that what you receive is not the full version as you might buy in the book store. What is a good idea, though, is the free 10 minute trial, which might just be enough for a business trip, and the Points of Interest sync nicely with Nokia Maps (handy that, since Maps 2.0 is where you will find the guides). Along with screen shots and a short video, Rafe shows his readers just how good the guide can be.

Have you tried this service yet? Purchased any content? What do you think? Head over and let Rafe know what you think.
