N79 and N85 – the product team speaks

The S60 Blog’s Anirudh Sharma has spent some time with the ‘Masterminds’ behind the new Nokia releases and brings us his Q&A session.

He asked the Nseries team whether they had been holding anything back since the N95, and the reply was that there has been ‘clear evolution’ since then with geotagging, OLED screens and USB charging. The inspiration for the N79 was ‘taking personalization from the physical to the digital blur’, with more of a stress on expressive design elements. When asked why they haven’t increased the megapixel count in the camera unit, the response was that the whole ‘holistic imaging experience’ has been improved.
