N95 firmware updated to v30?

September 4th, 2008

Rumours abound on many sites that the N95 8GB is heading for a massive firmware update, but Vaibhav Sharma from The Symbian Blog has actually got his hands on a changelog.

He reckons that the update is currently available at Service Centers, but should come soon to NSU. Bringing full N-Gage, Maps 2.0, and improvements to the music player and FL3 as well as improved WiFi performance, this promises to be the biggest and best update for some time.

Do you think this update addresses the issues that N95 8GB users have been having sufficiently? Are you excited about the improvements it promises? Head over and let Vaibhav know what you think?
